Whither the Grammarian?

Hi guys. I’m back.

In case you’ve been wondering where I’ve been (and judging from my most recent site stats, most of you have given up on this particular mystery), I have entered a strange, new world. A world where bathtubs are considered a luxury. A world where landlords require tenants to earn at least 40 times the monthly rent per annum. A world where “spacious” and “300 square feet” appear in the same sentence. Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve entered the scary, perplexing world of New York real estate. Wish me luck. This could get ugly.

*Thank you, all of you, for your advice regarding my prank caller(s). It really was an unsettling experience. Interestingly, the calls, hang-ups, unseemly remarks — all of it — ended with one well-placed phone call and e-mail (for good measure). I suppose I’ll never know what prompted this person to act so, but I’m thrilled to be rid of the nuisance.

  1. YAY! I am so glad that you are back! I was getting worried. I hope that you are having a WONDERFUL time, and make sure to see Avenue Q! 😉 Oh, and — thankyouthankyouthankyou for coming back and being ok. 🙂 I am simply gleeful right now!

  2. Sleep at St. John’s of the Divine. It’s a very nice church, and I think it’s only about $550 for a 10 sq. ft. pew. Or you could get gouged right here yet still get decent parking.
